1. To map to an existing project from OneCore, go to Projects>General Settings<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Click on Refresh Procore Projects<\/strong> to refresh the projects list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Go to Projects>Project Mapping<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

4. Click on the Unmapped Projects<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Click on the pencil icon next to the project you want to map.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Select the tracking option from the list (if it\u2019s not available it needs to be created in Xero or it\u2019s been mapped to another project). Click on Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. If the tracking option doesn’t exist, then it will need to be created in Xero. In Xero, navigate to Accounting>Accounting Settings>Tracking Categories><\/strong>. Under the Project (Or relevant project tracking category) scroll down to the bottom and hit the Add Another Option <\/strong>button. Here a new test box opens up where you can add the name of the tracking option you wish to map the Procore project to. Hit the green Save button once done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Once the mapping has been saved in OneCore, you will be given options on which transaction types from Procore and Xero you wish to be tracked. Make sure you tick all of the relevant options dependant on the workflows of the company (eg. if they use multi-mapping they likely won’t need to have Xero direct costs selected). Click on Activate <\/strong>to create a link between the project and tracking option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
