The Allowance Profile section enables users to configure allowances based on specific rules and rates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. From OneCore Portal, go to Settings <\/strong>and click Refresh All Data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Navigate to Profiles > Allowance<\/strong> and click on the + icon<\/strong> in the Allowance Profiles table<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Create a profile by inserting the values accordingly. Here is a list of fields for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • General Settings<\/strong>\n

    • Name and Description<\/strong> – Enter profile name and a brief description<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Associate Earnings Rate<\/strong> – Link the earnings rate pulled from Xero to the allowance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      • Direct Cost Settings – <\/strong>The Procore Direct Cost values to use when creating an allowance line item.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Standard Cost Code<\/strong> – Set a standard cost code for the allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cost Type<\/strong> – Define the cost type for the allowance<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Procore Rate<\/strong> – Configure the rate for allowance in Procore<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • Cost Plus Rate <\/strong>– Set the cost plus rate for subscribers of the Cost Plus module<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          • Rule Definition <\/strong>– Define the rule to apply this allowance when processing pay runs within OneCore.\n

            • Create rules for allowances such as adding units of allowance when specific conditions are meet (e.g,<\/strong> when hours per day exceed 1 hour, add 1 unit of allowance).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              • Select hours against Procore time types: (e.g, Regular Time, Overtime, Double Time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                • Select when to add X number of unit(s) of allowances.\n
                    \n
                  • Per Instance<\/strong> – Adds 1 allowance unit for the day, regardless of how many hours were worked above the threshold.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Per Completed Hour<\/strong> – Adds 1 allowance unit for each full hour worked. Partial hours are ignored. Example:<\/em> If an employee works 8.25 hours, 8 units will be added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Per Completed Hour After Threshold<\/strong> – Adds 1 allowance unit for each full hour worked above the threshold. Partial hours are ignored. Example:<\/em> If the threshold is 1 hour and the employee works 8.25 hours, 7 units will be added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Hours Worked<\/strong> – Adds allowance units based on the exact hours worked, including partial hours. Example:<\/em> If an employee works 8.25 hours, 8.25 units will be added.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Hours Worked After Threshold<\/strong> – Adds allowance units based on the exact hours worked above the threshold, including partial hours. Example:<\/em> If the threshold is 1 hour and the employee works 8.25 hours, 7.25 units will be added.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
                  • Cap settings<\/strong> \u2013 Set a maximum number of allowance units that can be added within a day, week, or pay period to prevent exceeding the configured limit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
