Setup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1.<\/span> <\/span>Request Interfy support to activate the module via https:\/\/onecore.interfy.com.au\/Support<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Give Interfy support user the payroll admin access. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Update the Payroll settings in Xero to include the \u201cProject\u201d (or Job) tracking category as the \u201cTimesheet Category\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the module has been activated by support, “Timesheet – Job Costings” menu will appear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

General Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

1. Once the module has been activated, navigate to the General Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

2. Click Refresh Timesheet – Job Cost Data to update<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

3. In Timesheet Settings, set the Enable Xero Timesheets, Sync Billable Timesheets Only, <\/strong>and Sync Approved Timesheets Only<\/strong> based on your requirements, click Save Timesheet Settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. In Labour Direct Cost Settings, set <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Enable Direct Costs<\/strong>: Create payroll direct costs from Procore timecard entries<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Direct Cost Trigger<\/strong>: Select the event for processing payroll direct cost<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Direct Cost Vendor<\/strong>: The vendor used when creating payroll direct costs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Default Cost Type<\/strong>: The cost type used in the payroll direct cost line item.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Default Time Type<\/strong>: The time type to use when timecard entries have no value specified for the time type field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Enable Direct Cost Per Employee<\/strong>\n
      \n
    • Checked<\/strong> – Create payroll direct costs for each employee. If the employee is a Procore User, the ‘Employee’ field will also be populated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Unchecked<\/strong> – All timecard entries will be grouped into a single daily payroll direct cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • De-identify Employees<\/strong>: When payroll direct costs are grouped per day, do not include employee names in the line item description.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      5. Click Save Labour Direct Cost Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Time Split<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. To configure time split, navigate to Time Split<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      2. Hit the +<\/strong> icon on the right side to add a new Time Split<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      3. Set the Name, Description, Base Time Type and Time Type Record<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      4. Once set, hit Save<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      5. You shall see the updated record shown in the Time Split table below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      Employee Mapping<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. Select the “Employee Mapping” sub option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      2. On Employee Mapping <\/strong>page, click the pencil icon to start mapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      3. Select the appropriate Xero Employee, click Save Changes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      4. You shall see the table correctly display the latest mapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      Employee Settings<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. Once the mapping has been established, the orange icon which indicates Edit Employee Settings<\/strong> will be displayed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      2. In General Settings, Set the Create Xero Timesheet<\/strong>, Create Direct Cost<\/strong>, Cost Type<\/strong> and Time Split<\/strong> here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      3. Scroll down to the button, hit Save General Settings<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      4. Navigate to Rate Settings<\/strong> on the tab<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      5. Configure the rate by clicking the blue pencil icon beside Procore Time Type<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      6. Set the Rate<\/strong>, click Save Changes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      7. If you wish to override project rate, you may do it by clicking the orange icon next to the desired Procore Time Type<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      8. Once clicked, the list of projects on the right side<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      9. To override the Project “Giant Tower” for demonstration purposes, click the Pencil icon beside the desired project name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      10. Set the Override Rate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      11. Click Save Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Time Type Mapping<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      1. Navigate to Time Type Mapping<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2. On Time Type Mapping page, click pencil icon next to the desired Procore Time Type<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      3. Select the appropriate Cost Type<\/strong>, Unit of Measure<\/strong> and Earnings Rate<\/strong> from the select list<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      4. Click Save Changes<\/strong>. you shall see the updated mapping in the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Activate Payroll in a Project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      1. To activate payroll, navigate to Projects > Project Mapping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      2. Click the pencil icon on the desired project name<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      3. Check Enable Payroll<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      4. Click Save Changes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      5. In Procore, ensure you have enabled users to be employees by navigating to the user in Company Tools > Directory<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      6. Hit Edit beside the desired employee name<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

      7. You will be presented with the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Check “Is Employee Of [Company Name]<\/strong>.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Scroll down to the bottom, click Save<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
